Government Co-Ed Sarvodaya Vidyalaya(ID: 1411032) Visit to Saghan Khel Sangharalaya, Day – 2
Day 2 of the educational program brought in a new class from Government Co-Ed Sarvodaya Vidyalaya School, ID: 1411032, Rampura Industrial Area, Tri Nagar, Delhi, 110035. Different classes are visiting the museum on separate days, allowing every group to enjoy a personalised, focused, and interactive learning experience.
Fresh Faces, New Energy
Today’s students arrived with curiosity and enthusiasm. Even though it was their first time at the museum, they quickly connected with the exhibits, asked insightful questions, and actively engaged with the story of sports across different eras.
Accompanied by their Physical Education teacher, the students also discussed how understanding sports heritage can help them better appreciate the games they play today.
Learning Through Exploration
During the visit, students explored:
- Detailed sports timelines
- Evolution of sports formats over the decades
- Rare artefacts connected to global sports history
- Visual panels explaining rules, playing areas, and iconic moments
Museum educators guided them through interactive discussions, helping students understand the value of sports heritage in modern education.
Improving Awareness & Knowledge
The teachers appreciated the museum’s approach of presenting sports history in a simple, relatable, and story-based manner. Many students shared that the exhibits helped them see sports from a new perspective—beyond just competition.
Looking Forward to Day 3
With two successful visits completed by two different classes, Saghan Khel Sangharalaya is all set to welcome the third class tomorrow for the final day of the school’s multi-day educational program.
